What is DoxyChat Connect?

DoxyChat Connect is the official companion app for the DoxyChat platform. It lets your users save, organize, and instantly open any DoxyChat chatbot from their Android phone — no browser needed.

The app works as a smart container: all AI processing stays on the DoxyChat infrastructure. The app simply provides a seamless, native experience on mobile.

• QR Code scanner — scan the QR code from the Integration tab of your dashboard to add a chatbot instantly.
• Manual URL entry — add any chatbot by pasting its public URL and giving it a custom name.
• Account sync — sign in with your DoxyChat account to automatically import all your chatbots at once.
• All access modes supported — works with Public, Password-protected (Shared), and Private chatbots.
• Offline list — your saved chatbot list is always visible, even without internet.

Getting Started

Step 1 — Download the app

Install DoxyChat Connect from the Google Play Store (free, requires Android 8.0 or later).

Step 2 — Add a chatbot via QR Code

1. In your DoxyChat dashboard, open a chatbot and go to the Integration tab.
2. In the app, tap the ··· menu → Scan QR Code.
3. Point your camera at the QR code displayed on screen.
4. Give the chatbot a name (or keep the official name) — it is saved automatically.

Step 3 — Or add a chatbot via URL

1. Tap the ··· menu → Add via URL.
2. Paste the chatbot’s public URL (e.g. https://app.doxychat.com/en/chat/…).
3. Enter a name and confirm. The app detects the access type automatically.

Step 4 — Open a chatbot

Tap any saved chatbot in the list to open it in full-screen mode. Password-protected or private chatbots will prompt for credentials once; subsequent opens are automatic.

Chatbot Access Types

DoxyChat Connect handles all three visibility modes natively — no browser required.

Account Sync shortcut: If you sign in globally via the ··· menu → Sign in to DoxyChat, all your PRIVATE chatbots open without a second login — the app reuses your account session.

Integration with the DoxyChat Dashboard

A QR code is generated automatically in the Integration tab of each chatbot. Share it with your users so they can add the chatbot to DoxyChat Connect in one scan — no URL to type.

The same Integration tab also provides the direct link and the JavaScript snippet for embedding on websites.
