Introduction

Creating an account is the essential first step to using DoxyChat. It allows you to secure your data, assigns you a private storage space, and activates your free “Discovery” plan without requiring a credit card.

Registration Procedure

1. Access the form

Go to the application registration page (usually accessible via the Sign Up or Start for Free button from our showcase site).

2. Fill in your information

Complete the form with the following information:

  • Professional or personal email: This will serve as your unique identifier.
  • Password: Choose a strong password (minimum 8 characters, including uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols).
  • Organization Name (Optional): If you are a business, this will appear on your invoices.

3. Acceptance of conditions (Compliance)

To validate your registration, you must check the box certifying that you have read and accepted:

  • The General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS).
  • The Privacy Policy.

Note: This step is mandatory to guarantee GDPR compliance and the legal framework for the use of our services.

4. Email address validation

Once the form is submitted by clicking on Create my account, you will be redirected to a waiting page inviting you to check your emails.

DoxyChat uses a secure verification system (SMTP) to ensure that you are indeed the owner of the email address.

  1. Open your inbox.
  2. Look for an email from DoxyChat (check your spam folder if necessary).
  3. Click on the link or the Confirm my email address button contained in the message.

Once the link is clicked, your account is officially activated. You will be redirected to the dashboard and your “Discovery” plan will be automatically activated.

Troubleshooting and FAQ

I did not receive the confirmation email. This can happen for several reasons. On the verification page:

  1. Check that the displayed email does not contain any typos.
  2. Check your Spam or Junk folder.
  3. Click on the Resend email button.
    • Security note: To prevent abuse, you must wait 60 seconds between each resend request.

Do I have to enter my credit card to sign up? No. Registration gives you access to the Discovery plan which is totally free. You will only be invited to enter a payment method if you voluntarily decide to upgrade to a higher plan (Starter, Growth, etc.).
